Spreadsheet-to-Platform Migration Pack
Do not start with data. Start with the methodology decisions and a cleaned register. Migrating a bad spreadsheet produces a bad platform faster.

What is in the file
- What actually breaks - taxonomy fights, unconfirmed owners, typed residuals, the shadow file, evidence left in inboxes, training as a slide deck.
- Phased plan - decide, clean, load, parallel, roll out - with owners and exit criteria.
- 16-week timeline - two-week blocks you can move, with a hard rule: do not overlap “pack from the system” with “still cleaning the register”.
The parallel run is the acceptance test
Run it against a real committee date. If the pack cannot come from the platform that cycle, the parallel run was theatre. Agree in writing the date the shadow spreadsheet is deleted, and put that date in the plan.
Name a first-line owner for the pilot area. If second line pilots on their behalf, you have learned nothing about adoption.
