About GRC Catalyst

GRC Catalyst is a specialist governance, risk and compliance consultancy based in London and founded by Pamela Stacey. It is a boutique, practitioner-led firm working mainly with biotech, pharmaceutical and healthcare organisations, though it applies the same disciplines in other regulated industries where the requirements transfer.

The firm advises on healthcare compliance against the ABPI, EFPIA and PhRMA codes, provides fractional compliance officer and data protection officer cover, and runs governance, risk and compliance maturity assessments. The fractional model suits organisations that need senior compliance judgement without carrying a permanent appointment.

It publishes regularly on governance and risk through its own insights pages. Its stated position is that good governance is not about saying no, but about unlocking better ways to say yes, which is close to how we think about first-line engagement in a risk framework.

GRC Catalyst and Initia

Initia and GRC Catalyst run a reciprocal content programme, publishing each other's work and sharing practitioner resources across both audiences. Pamela Stacey wrote "What 'Good' Looks Like Under Provision 29" for the Initia resources library. There is no referral or reseller arrangement between the two firms.

Initia Risk
As a professional risk manager with over 16 years' experience, I have seen many systems over the years. Initia Risk is without doubt one of the most user-friendly and intuitive platforms I have encountered.
